The u.s. Pain foundation empowers individuals to advocate for themselves while advancing pain policy at the state and federal levels. During the fiscal year, the organization focused on promoting integrated, multidisciplinary pain care and improving access to a broad range of therapies, including complementary treatments, medical devices, and novel therapeutics. State efforts centered on empowering small groups of advocates to testify on legislation aimed at improving access to care. Nationally, u.s. Pain worked toward passing a federal bill to improve population health data collection on pain.
The pediatric pain warrior program supports children with chronic pain and their families through education and community-building. In june 2025, the program hosted its fourth annual family summer camp at morgan's camp in san antonio, tx, welcoming 54 families for five days of fun activities, educational sessions, and peer support. The program also held family pain education days at children's hospitals nationwide to provide in-person education and connection for families managing pain.
