Congregate Meals:The Kingstree Wellness Center, the Hemingway Wellness Center and the Kennedy Center resumed regular operations and were open Monday through Thursday. A hot noon-day meal is provided to participants along with numerous activities, exercise programs, crafts, games, and educational presentations. 138 seniors participated at the wellness centers this fiscal year, receiving more than 11,956 meals.

Homemaker:Homemaker services are available to provide respite services and light housekeeping. This allows the seniors to have someone come into their home and assist them with meal preparation, washing dishes, laundry, making the bed, changing bed linens and light sweeping. A Homemaker service worker may be in the home up to 6 hours per month. These services were provided to a total of 52 clients throughout the fiscal year providing more than 2,787 total hours.

Transportation:Transportation was provided to and from the three wellness centers. 24 wellness centers participants received transportation services totaling more than 26,940 miles.

Nutrition Education:The Wellness Centers provide several evidence based programs with a certified instructor to include Arthritis exercise, Bingocize, and Walk with Ease classes. More than 235 classes were available to all 138 wellness center participants during 2024 -2025 fiscal year.
