Mission

The mission of the warriors for freedom foundation is to provide a safe community, constant support, and year round activities, where we can restore hope, renew purpose, and revitalize our veterans and their families.

Programs

3 programs

Warriors for freedom foundation provides fishing trips, events, and experiences at no cost to veterans.

Expenses: $18K

Our scuba program at the warriors for freedom foundation invites veterans to explore the underwater world while connecting with a community that truly understands veterans. We offer constant support and year-round activities that focus on revitalizing our veterans and active-duty military members.

Expenses: $13K

We offer programs, essential resources, and critical services that cultivate camaraderie, and champions the mental health of those we serve. The organization is well known for providing activities that help those who face post traumatic stress disorder (ptsd), combat stress reaction (csr) and traumatic brain injuries (tbi), as well as acutely focusing on suicide prevention via the r22 campaign. The warriors for freedom foundation also provides food, clothing, and support directly or through grants to support veterans. In situations where there are emergency needs and the organization does not have the resources, wff partners with outside agencies and organizations to ensure the veterans and their families receive the support and care they need. In addition to food scarcity, wff is now working to support veterans who are unhoused, by helping to identify them and direct them to agencies that provide programs and services for that need. With the launch of our purposeful thrift store, we now provide volunteer opportunities, which provides an atmosphere for the development of camaraderie, and potential employment as we move forward. To assist veterans who need employment, we currently have several partners who seek our community members first when they have openings.
