In addition to The Writers Centers creative writing workshops, we offer 100 literary events that are free and open to the public, including readings, panels, and open mics. We publish three issues of an in-house magazine, featuring interviews with local authors alongside our seasonal class schedules.
Annually, The Writers Center publishes two issues of Poet Lore, the nations oldest poetry journal. With an updated look, Poet Lore now features a paid Guest Editor program, prominent contemporary poets who curate sections of each issue, and offers payment for accepted poems.
