Programs

Equity, diversity & inclusivity - the edi program is comprised of the latina achievement support program which operates within participating boulder county high schools to support latina girls to graduate and pursue secondary education. It also includes the reading to end racism program which provides engaging and age-appropriate forums in which to explain and explore institutional racism with students and their families through online classes and interactive presentations led by volunteer readers. The third program within edi is our anti-racism training which includes online community classes and customized corporate training on diversity, equity and inclusivity.
Stem e3 is a program designed to engage middle school aged students of color on coding and other stem activities. Curated pathways and supplementary curriculum is used for coding lessons and to provide culturally relevant activities, speakers, and career exploration by partnering with local businesses and volunteers.

The advocacy program builds awareness about critical issues impacting women and girls. Mobilizing the communities most affected by the policy change needed, the ywca is able to strategically develop relationships with policy makers and community influencers to create long term, sustainable change. Advocates focus on policy and legislation for racial justice and the economic advancement, health and safety of women and girls.
