The victims' resource center provides comprehensive services to individuals impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. These services include a 24-hour hotline, crisis counseling, emergency shelter, medical and legal advocacy, transitional housing, outreach services, and community and prevention education programs. During the fiscal year, the victims' resource center provided direct support services to several hundred individuals.
The ywca's housing and employment services program provides safe and secure emergency housing for women, men, and individuals with children who are experiencing homelessness. Program staff assist participants in securing safe, affordable, and permanent housing; conducting job searches; preparing rsums; building employment readiness skills; learning to budget and manage daily living expenses; and applying for appropriate public benefits. Case management services are available to both residents and non-residents. During the fiscal year, the housing and employment services program served several hundred individuals.
