Workforce Development Training Centers - employed 161 people. Over ninety percent of revenues are returned to jobs and job training programs for individuals facing a range of barriers, such as generational poverty, housing instability, disabilities, involvement with the justice system, outdated skills, and a lack of education. Our workforce development programs are designed to meet people where they arethrough wraparound services, one-on-one support, in-person instruction, and anytime, anywhere virtual access. Goodwill delivered job training, education, and career pathway services to 3,152 unduplicated individuals across our 15-county region and had 80 GED graduates in the Longview and Tacoma areas. Programs range from digital training skills, environmental green tech job training, career readiness and development, work experience paid internships and career exploration, state licensed vocational school for basic skills and industry recognized credentials, financial counseling, and community support programs designed to support senior citizens, veterans, justice involved youth, and people with developmental disabilities. Job placement of 254 individuals within the community support program included people with developmental disabilities as well as people entering the workforce with other barriers such as welfare history and lack of work skills or behavior. Youth at Risk provided GED training and Youth Recovery Corps. GORR had 106 employed outside of a program work experience. Senior mature workers provided training in office and other skills. Veterans' services and training are provided to those who have served. Goodwills vocational and employment services brings together a unique blend of immediate support and income for highly vulnerable households combined with relevant career resources and long term engagement that can move people out of poverty and onto a self-sufficient pathway.
