COMMUNITY OUTREACH

To provide core support funding for the continued operational and programmatic work of Empower Evergreen, Inc.

To provide funding in support of development of an experimental new type of financial institution designed to serve people who are traditionally thought of as being "un-bankable." This population usually has to resort to payday lending type institutions. This new organization is co-funded by Stand Together and a number of other local funders, including most of the major banks in Wichita. The total project is over $600,000.
