Thrive dc works to prevent and end homelessness by providing vulnerable individuals with a comprehensive range of services to help stabilize their lives.

Programs

2 programs

Case management - we believe food is a pathway to expanded support and services. Many clients who come to thrive for breakfast engage with our case managers who connect clients to health hygiene supports, mental health counseling, addiction support, and victim services. We provide recovery support to individuals experience substance use challenges through individual counseling and group support. Our victim services program utilizes a trauma-informed approach for those experiencing violence and conflict.

Re-entry workforce development - thrive dc offers transitional housing for men returning from incarceration. Our support programs are designed to assist individuals who are working to overcome the increased challenges of restabilization. We provide training and skills coaching to prepare individuals to re-enter the workforce and become self-sufficient.
